Originaire de Manchester, Pacific Drift est un groupe britannique éphémère qui sort en 1970 son unique album Feelin' Free. Le quatuor mêle habilement pop psychédélique, rock progressif et touches de soul et de folk, dans un esprit proche de The Moody Blues ou Traffic. Portée par la voix expressive de Graham Harrop et des harmonies vocales travaillées, la musique du groupe révèle une belle richesse instrumentale, où claviers, guitares planantes et rythmiques subtiles s'entrelacent. Malgré des compositions originales et ambitieuses, le groupe ne rencontre pas le succès commercial attendu et disparaît rapidement après la sortie du disque, devenu aujourd’hui une rareté recherchée par les collectionneurs de rock psychédélique britannique.

Pacific Drift, a short-lived band from Manchester, released their only album Feelin' Free in 1970. Blending psychedelic rock, progressive pop, and elements of soul and folk, the group delivered a unique and ambitious sound reminiscent of Traffic, The Moody Blues, or The Zombies. Led by Graham Harrop’s soulful vocals and strong vocal harmonies, the album features rich instrumentation with swirling keyboards, melodic guitar work, and tight rhythm sections. Though it failed to gain mainstream traction, Feelin' Free has since become a cult gem among fans of British psychedelic and progressive rock.
