Ivar Avenue Reunion was a kind of supergroup formed by Neil Merryweather, Lynn Carey (formerly C.K. Strong), Barry Goldberg and Charlie Musselwhite. An excellent combination of blues rock and heavier rock with the exceptional voice of Lynn Carey. Very good hard rock rather varied with blues and soul influences. The title "Magic Fool" is distinguished by its power and its psychedelic riffs. "Fast Train" is excellent with the beautiful voice of Lynn Carey accompanied by a piano full of groove and harmonica solos and guitar in fusion. And then there is the sublime ballad "Charlotte Brown" on which Lynn Carey offers us a vocal performance full of emotion.
