Plastic Penny was a British psychedelic pop band active from 1967 to 1969. They are best remembered for their UK hit single Everything I Am, a soulful cover of the Box Tops song. Their debut album, also titled Everything I Am, showcases a lush blend of baroque pop, orchestral arrangements, and gentle psychedelia. Fronted by singer Brian Keith and featuring future UFO keyboardist Paul Raymond, the band created an elegant and melodic sound that captures the spirit of late ’60s British pop-psych. Although their career was brief, they remain a noteworthy footnote in UK psychedelic history.
