Hungry Wolf n’est pas un groupe traditionnel mais un collectif de musiciens de studio britanniques réuni autour du claviériste Alan Hawkshaw et du guitariste-produit Alan Parker, actifs à la fin des années 60 à Londres. Le projet aboutit à un unique album sorti en 1970 chez Philips Records, alliant psychédélique, jazz-rock, funk et orchestration brassée. Enregistré aux studios Lansdowne et Morgan, l’album offre une expérience instrumentale souvent dominée par l’orgue Hammond et des arrangements cuivrés sophistiqués.

Hungry Wolf is essentially a studio project formed by top British session musicians, led by keyboardist Alan Hawkshaw and guitarist-producer Alan Parker. Recorded at London’s Lansdowne and Morgan Studios, Hungry Wolf has become a cult favorite among psych and prog rock collectors.
