The Eagles are an American rock band formed in Los Angeles, California in 1971 by Glenn Frey (born November 6, 1948 in Detroit). At its inception, the group consists of bassist Randy Meisner singer, guitarist vocalist and banjo player Bernie Leadon, drummer Don Henley singer and guitarist, pianist, singer Glenn Frey. With five number one singles and six number one albums, the band was one of the formations has been the most successful of the 1970s. The first album was recorded under the title 'Eagles' to England in February 1972 with producer Glyn Johns and he released 17 June 1972. This disc will meet a great success, and the Eagles are a huge breakthrough giving three singles in the Top 40. the first single and lead track from the album 'Take it Easy' is a song written by Glenn Frey and his neighbor and fellow country-folk rocker Jackson Browne. Browne had written the first and third verses, and the chorus, but his work on the song was out of fuel. After giving permission to work there Frey, Frey added the second verse. The song reached number 12 on the Billboard Hot 100 and propelled the Eagles into stardom. The single was followed by the bluesy 'Witchy Woman' and the soft country rock ballad 'Peaceful Easy Feeling' respectively reaching number 9 and number 22. The Eagles were a major force in popularizing his country rock of Southern California.
