Babe Ruth - First Base (1972)

Babe Ruth is a group that formed in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, England, in 1971. The guitarist composer Alan Shacklock is the founder of the progressive rock band. They had a bluesy rhythm, a sharp guitar and the amazing voice of Jenny Haan. Their 1972 album First Base, with its cover painted by acclaimed artist Roger Dean, remains one of their best albums to date. The formula is explosive: a sexy singer in hell ((Jenny is phenomenal, especially when we know that she was about 19 years upon registration), a good layer of keyboards on an adventure to PROG- doors rock, thick and bluesy guitars swift and sharp solos.
