The first big drive to emerge from Haight-Ashbury, the hippie neighborhood of San Francisco, in 1967 (the year of the "Summer of Love") is that crazy drive, assembled by Country Joe and the Fish against-cultural: no time low each piece gives the impression of having been engraved in history, carried by the nasal voice and a little sad to Country Joe McDonald, and accompanied by the guitar "fuzz" very acid Barry Melton ... a beautiful tote -all full of country, blues, bluegrass and psychedelic rock and pure libertarian, and has not aged a bit!
Le premier grand disque à émerger de Haight-Ashbury, le quartier hippie de San Francisco, en 1967 (l'année du "Summer of Love") est ce disque fou, assemblé par Country Joe et son poisson contre-culturel : aucun temps faible, chaque morceau donne l'impression d'avoir été gravé pour l'histoire, porté par la voix nasillarde et un peu triste de Country Joe McDonald, et accompagné par la guitare "fuzz" très acide de Barry Melton ... un beau fourre-tout , plein de country, de blues, de bluegrass et de pur rock psychédélique et libertaire, et qui n'a pas pris une ride !
