High Tide is a group of short-lived British rock, founded in 1969 and dissolved the following year. It consists of guitarist Tony Hill (former Misunderstood), the violinist Simon House, bassist Pete Pavli and drummer Roger Hadden. The band's sound, particularly heavy for the time, is characterized by the contrast between the guitar and the violin of Hill House. He did not meet success and separated after a year of existence and two albums. Simon House joined by Hawkwind on.
