The English band Ancient Grease offers us an excellent hard-blues rock album. Listen to simply 'Time To Die' account to make you a bewitching song, intoxicating ... simply superb. The group was originally called Strawberry Dust and become Ancient Grease thereafter. The voice of Hopkins (ex- Eyes Of Blue), powerful and hollow on the song 'Freedom Train', a bit like the voice of Cocker. The other pieces are cut from the hard-rock heavy blues-like 'Mystic Mountain', 'Do not Want, Eagle Song "or" Woman and Children First'.
The album was recorded in 1970. Phil Ryan will be part of Man in 1983. Pickford Hopkins will join him on the great Wild Turkey group.Le groupe anglais Ancient Grease nous propose un excellent album de hard-blues rock.
