Originaire de l'Indiana, B.F. Trike est un power trio américain né des cendres du groupe Hickory Wind. Enregistré en 1970 à Nashville, leur unique album ne sera pourtant publié qu'en 1988, ce qui en fit longtemps un mystère pour les amateurs de rock psychédélique et heavy. B.F. Trike distille un hard rock vintage mêlé de fuzz, de groove et d’influences psyché, le tout servi par une production étonnamment soignée. Guitares acides, basse lourde et chant tranchant : un condensé brut et énergique de ce que le rock underground américain savait offrir à l’aube des seventies.

Formed in Indiana from the ashes of Hickory Wind, B.F. Trike was a heavy psychedelic power trio who recorded their only album in 1970 in Nashville. Although it remained unreleased until 1988, the self-titled B.F. Trike has since become a cult favorite among fans of obscure acid rock. Fuzzy guitar riffs, gritty vocals, bluesy grooves, and a raw proto-metal edge make this album a compelling snapshot of early ‘70s underground American rock.
