Medicine Head - Dark Side Of The Moon (1972)

Medicine Head were a British blues rock band, active in the 1970s. They were formed in 1968, and came to prominence when championed by DJ, John Peel, who signed them to his Dandelion record label. Dark Side of the Moon was the band's third album released in 1972 just a few months before Pink Floyd's album of the same name. So Pink Floyd briefly changed the name of their piece (which they were already performing live), to 'Eclipse' in order to avoid confusion.

Medicine Head était un groupe de blues rock britannique, actif dans les années 1970. Ils ont été formés en 1968, et sont devenus célèbres quand ils ont été promus par le DJ John Peel, qui les a signés sur son label Dandelion. Dark Side of the Moon est le troisième album du groupe sorti en 1972 quelques mois avant l'album de Pink Floyd du même nom. Du coup Pink Floyd a rapidement changé le nom de leur album (qu'ils exécutaient déjà en live), en 'Eclipse' afin d'éviter toute confusion.
