A native of Austin, Texas, like Roky Erickson and his 13th Floor Elevators, Cold Sun brings together Bill Miller, Tom McGarigle, Hugh Patton and Mike Waugh. A blur nevertheless remains on the pseudonym of the group. The label for which these musicians have recorded, has no record of Cold Sun in its archives. This training would be known under the label "Dark Shadows" .A single acetate would have been engraved at the time. According to several sources, the transposition of recordings on digital media seems to differ from the original pressing (content of the disc and arrangement of the songs).
