Formed by three young French students from Toulouse, Alain Thomas, Jean-Michel Navarre and Nicolas Gorodetzky, the group was successful from 1978 to 1983 with their songs very much influenced by West Coast music. They had an obsession with the silky melody, a manic taste for harmony of voices, an obvious sense of the Hit. In three discs, the Toulousans of Weekend Millionnaire brought an American breath on the French variety, accompanying with happiness the rise of the FM radios.
