Tramline est un groupe britannique de blues rock signé sur Island Records à la fin des années 1960. Issus de Coventry, ces musiciens livrent avec Somewhere Down The Line un premier album solide, fortement influencé par la scène blues anglaise, à la croisée des Yardbirds et de John Mayall. Porté par une énergie brute, un jeu de guitare tranchant et une section rythmique bien en place, ce disque s’inscrit dans la veine authentique du British Blues Boom, sans chercher l’esbroufe mais avec conviction.

Tramline was a short-lived British blues rock outfit from Coventry, active in the late 1960s. Signed to Island Records, they released their debut Somewhere Down The Line in 1968, showcasing a raw and faithful approach to blues rock. With gritty guitar work, soulful vocals, and tight grooves, the band paid homage to American blues while infusing it with the energy of the British rock underground. Though they never broke through commercially, Tramline remains a fine example of the authentic blues revival of the era.
