Flaming Ember were a white Rock group out of Detroit that was similar to Rare Earth in that they had a liking for Soul music. They had a series of hits in the early-1970s. Sunshine was released during the heyday of that success, and contains one of their biggest songs, I’m Not My Brother’s Keeper that can still be heard on some oldies stations today.
