Outlaws - Lady In Waiting (1976)

Outlaws are a southern rock band formed in Tampa, Florida in late 1967 by guitarist/vocalist Hughie Thomasson, drummer David Dix, bassist Phil Humberg, guitarists Hobie O'Brien and Frank Guidry, plus singer Herb Pino. The band was signed by Arista Records under Clive Davis. Davis was in the audience at a show in 1974 where the band was opening for Lynyrd Skynyrd in Columbia, South Carolina. At the end of Lynyrd Skynyrd's set, lead vocalist Ronnie Van Zant said from the stage: “If you don’t sign the Outlaws, you’re the dumbest music person I’ve ever met—and I know you’re not.” 

Outlaws est un groupe de rock sudiste formé à Tampa en Floride à la fin de 1967 par le guitariste / chanteur Hughie Thomasson, le batteur David Dix, le bassiste Phil Humberg, les guitaristes Hobie O'Brien et Frank Guidry, ainsi que le chanteur Herb Pino. Le groupe a été signé par Arista Records sous la direction de Clive Davis. Davis était dans l'assistance à un spectacle en 1974 où le groupe ouvrait pour Lynyrd Skynyrd à Columbia, en Caroline du Sud. À la fin du set de Lynyrd Skynyrd, le chanteur Ronnie Van Zant a déclaré: «Si vous ne signez pas les Outlaws, vous êtes le musicien le plus stupide que j'ai jamais rencontré - et je sais que vous ne l'êtes pas."
