Mick Farren created his Deviants in 1967, after having first called it Social Deviants. The music he plays is provocative, subversive, aggressive and sub-amphose, the sound he spews, like Fugs, Monks, Mothers of Invention or MC5, influence of the formations of the moment like Hawkind or Pink Fairies towards which some members will migrate , but especially The Deviants carry in them the drafts of the punk dissent of the next decade.
