This disc is the best of Grand Funk Railroad. He is the one who presents the most characteristic specificities of the group (apart from the contribution of subsequent keyboards). Here we have an archetype of the so-seventh-decade trio group, with a guitar sound that approaches the sound of pure steel to a point that will never be equaled. In addition, we have an ubiquitous low frequency hum, provided by a tireless bassist and metronomic, which adds a layer to the specificity of the Grand Funk Railroad sound. We find in particular a cover of the famous "Inside Looking Out" of Animals where the rhythm and blues is lost to the benefit of a rain storm of steel in the way of a manifesto to Heavy Metal.

Nous avons l脿 un arch茅type du groupe trio des ann茅es soxante-dix, avec un son de guitare qui approche le bruit de l'acier pur 脿 un point qui ne sera jamais 茅gal茅. Par ailleurs, nous avons un vrombissement de basses fr茅quences omnipr茅sent, assur茅 par un bassiste infatigable et m茅tronomique, qui rajoute une couche 脿 la sp茅cificit茅 du son Grand Funk Railroad. On trouve en paticulier une reprise du tr茅s c茅l茅bre "Inside Looking Out" des Animals o霉 le rythme and blues se perd au profit d'un v茅ritable d茅luge de pluie d'acier en forme de manifeste au Heavy Metal.
