🇬🇧 Biography (English)

One of the masterpieces of the period, Barrel was essentially recorded live in the studio by Michaels (organ/bass) with Frosty on drums. It's a fabulous performance and one of the finest wamp/rock records of the period. The strengths of the album are the strengths of most of Michaels's early-1970s material: rich funk-rock-gospel vocals and keyboards.

L'un des chefs-d'œuvre de l'époque, Barrel a été essentiellement enregistré en direct dans le studio par Michaels (orgue / basse) avec Frosty à la batterie. C'est une performance fabuleuse et un des plus beaux enregistrements wamp/rock de cette période. Les points forts de l'album sont les points forts de la plupart des productions des années 1970 de Michaels: une voix funk-rock-gospel très riche et des claviers omni présents.
