Influencé par les grands noms du néo-prog que sont Marillion ou Arena, Moonrise se fraie un chemin vers la reconnaissance avec ces 8 premiers morceaux tantôt instrumentaux, tantôt soutenus par la voix de Lukasz Gall. C'est justement avec un instrumental, The Island que l'épopée commence. Le décor est d'ores et déjà planté : des claviers d'ambiance et des solos de guitare atmosphériques.
