The Milk Carton Kids is a contemporary folk duo from Los Angeles, California. Kenneth Pattengale and Joey Ryan formed the band in early 2011. Two boys, their just put on an acoustic guitar voices, harmonies in thirds. Nor engaged folk or traditional or rock rabid and transgressive ... The genre was canonized by the Everly Brothers in the late 1950s, globalized by Simon and Garfunkel in the mid- 1960. The Milk Carton Kids assume their anachronism, displaying vintages of their instruments (a Martin 1954, a Gibson 1951) and the austere part of their recordings: Presbyterian church of Nashville.
