Cet album rare et recherché dégage une atmosphère intimiste et délicate, typique de cette période riche en expérimentations musicales.

Appaloosa is formed by John Compton, David Reiser, Gene Rosov and Robin Batteau. Chamber Folk reserved for lone riders wishing to leave the urban neurosis for Great Plains intoxicating color absinthe, divided between beauty and fearful work cloying, it is difficult to resist the mystical enchantment of this Appaloosa love with a contagious freedom.

Appaloosa is a solo project by American guitarist John Parker Compton. The self-titled 1969 album perfectly blends folk rock and Californian psychedelic sounds of the late 60s. This rare and sought-after album conveys an intimate and delicate atmosphere typical of this period of rich musical experimentation.
